Since I don't have a Democrat running for state representative in my district (groan), I've decided to do the next best thing and support strong Democratic candidates in other districts. One of the candidates I've chosen to support is Diana Maldonado, who is running against beatable Republican incumbent Mike Krusee for the 52nd district seat. Yesterday, Annie's List, an organization dedicated to supporting Democratic women candidates in Texas, announced that for the next two weeks through June 2, they will be matching contributions to Diana Maldonado dollar-for-dollar.
