Barack Obama picked up three more superdelegates at the Hawaii state convention yesterday: an add-on, as well as the newly appointed state party chair and vice-chair, both of whom have said that they will support Obama. Per Democratic Convention Watch, here's a look at where the race now stands:
Without Michigan and Florida:
49 delegates needed to secure nomination
294 delegates remaining (86 pledged, 201 superdelegates, 7 Edwards delegates)
Barack Obama needs to take 16.7% of the remaining delegates to secure the nomination
With Michigan and Florida:
154 delegates needed to secure nomination
390 delegates remaining (86 pledged, 231 superdelegates, 18 Edwards delegates, 55 uncommitted)
Barack Obama needs to take 39.5% of the remaining delegates to secure the nomination
